Erykah Badu, one of the most influential and original artists in contemporary music, is returning to Poland. On October 25, 2026, she will perform at the International Congress Centre in Katowice, presenting her latest stage project “IMEHO – An Intimate Experience with Erykah Badu”.
Following last year’s concerts in Gdynia, during which the artist celebrated the 25th anniversary of the cult album “Mama’s Gun”, Erykah Badu returns with a completely different experience. “IMEHO” is an improvisation-based form in which every concert is created live and no two evenings can be the same.It will not, however, be a solo concert or a duet performance. In Katowice, Erykah Badu will perform in a four-person lineup, together with three musicians responsible for keyboards, bass, and an extensive percussion setup. This formula allows the intimate and improvisational character of the project to be preserved, while at the same time giving it a fuller, more dynamic sound designed with the large space of the MCK in mind.
